Enough about the hotel. Most people know who we are, what we offer our guests and where we are located, Playa del Carmen, Mexico just south of Cancun and on one of the most desired beaches in North America. One block from the hotel is the Mexican Caribbean, the ocean, the blue blue sea that is shown in so many vacation photos. The water really is that blue and we really are just 2 steps, 2 big steps!
Mexican Caribbean and the Riviera Maya is an experience
We can tell you all about it but the Mayan Riviera really needs to be experienced. Photos help but when you stand outside the doors of the hotel just off 5th Ave in Playa del Carmen and feel the ocean breeze, smell the salt air, feel the humidity from the ocean, the complete sensation is what you really remember and appreciate. Look at these photos which are photos of the beach at the end of 4th street. Try and imagine the warm ocean breeze coming off the Mexican Caribbean Ocean. Think of your feet on the white, cool (really it does not get hot) sand. Inhale, exhale, inhale deeply. 
Notice the absence of boats. This is one reason while we like the bottom of 4th street as the boats park farther to the north out of our precious view!
It is a great way to live and an even better way to vacation. 4th street is part of the old Playa del Carmen with many businesses being here for many years. They have weathered the test of time and for good reason. They either have great food, or great service, or are a Playa favorite for locals and visitors to Playa del Carmen. We really could not have picked a better spot, a better view or a better neighbor, that being the Mexican Caribbean.
